Bigger Kids is for ages 10 to 14, the group that is ready to train properly. Bigger Kids trains Kickboxing on Monday and Wrestling on Wednesday. Each class is 60 minutes.

At this age kids are working out what they are capable of. Martial arts gives them somewhere that effort is the thing that counts: you drill it, you get it wrong, you get it, and nobody hands it to you. Coaches push and keep the room safe at the same time.

The confidence that comes out of that is the part parents notice first. Not swagger. The quieter kind, from knowing you can handle yourself.

Bigger Kids FAQs

Ages 10 to 14. Little Kids covers ages 4 to 9, Monday and Wednesday. If your child is on the line between the two, ask us and we'll put them where they'll do best.

Kickboxing on Monday and Wrestling on Wednesday.

Yes, controlled and supervised sparring is introduced gradually. We start with positional drills and light contact work before progressing to supervised sparring rounds. Safety gear is required, and coaches are always on the mat managing intensity.

This is one of the most common reasons parents bring their kids to us, and yes, it works. Not because we teach them to punch bullies, but because we build genuine confidence. A child who carries themselves with quiet confidence is far less likely to be targeted. And if a situation does escalate, they have the skills to protect themselves.

Competition opportunities are available for students who want them, but never required. Our coaches will let you know when your child is ready and help prepare them if that's the path they want to take.

We recommend 2-3 days per week for consistent progress. Some kids train more as they get hooked. Our coaches can help you find the right balance between martial arts, school, and other activities.
