ABOUT THE PROGRAM

What this actually is.

MMA brings together the best elements of Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, and Boxing into one comprehensive system. It teaches you to be effective standing up, in the clinch, and on the ground — giving you the most complete self-defense skill set available.

Our MMA program doesn't throw you into the deep end. You'll build skills across all ranges at a pace that makes sense for your experience level. Many of our MMA members started in a single discipline and expanded from there. Others jumped straight into MMA because they wanted the full picture from day one. Both paths work.

This is where everything comes together. The striking timing you learn in boxing, the clinch work from Muay Thai, the takedowns from wrestling, the ground control from BJJ — MMA is the art of connecting all of those skills seamlessly. It's challenging, it's addictive, and it will push you to become the most well-rounded version of yourself.

THE ARC · YOUR FIRST QUARTER

How the progression goes.

  1. WK. 01–04

    Transitions & range

Striking-to-grappling transitions and back. Distance management, clinch entries, the level change. You're not learning new techniques — you're learning how to glue what you already know together.

  2. WK. 05–12

    Integration drills

Position-specific rounds blending striking and grappling. Wall work, ground-and-pound mechanics, sweeps from the bottom. Pace climbs gradually as your reads sharpen.

  3. WK. 13+

    Light sparring

Controlled MMA sparring opens up — always optional, always gradual. Many members train for months before stepping into it, and many train for years without ever needing to. Both paths are valid.

QUESTIONS

Mixed Martial Arts FAQ.

Nope. While some members come in with a background in one discipline, our MMA classes are structured so beginners can learn all the ranges from scratch. We'll build your striking and grappling simultaneously.

Not at all. The vast majority of our MMA members train for fitness, self-defense, and personal challenge. Competition is available but never required or expected.

We recommend 2-3 days per week to start. As you progress, you might add individual discipline classes (boxing, BJJ, wrestling) to sharpen specific skills. Your coaches will help you build a schedule that works.
