Young Lions is built for kids who are ready to train for real. This is where your child starts learning actual martial arts technique, Muay Thai striking, BJJ ground work, wrestling takedowns, in a structured environment that challenges them physically and mentally. They'll develop real-world self-defense skills while building the confidence and discipline that defines who they become.

At this age, kids are forming their identity. They're figuring out what they're capable of, who their friends are, and how to handle pressure. Martial arts gives them a proving ground where effort is rewarded, setbacks are learning opportunities, and respect is earned through showing up and doing the work. No participation trophies, real, earned progress.

Our coaches push kids to be their best while keeping the environment safe and supportive. Your child will be challenged, and they'll rise to it. The confidence that comes from knowing you can handle yourself, on the mat and in life, is something that sticks with them forever.

Young Lions runs Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Each class is 50 minutes.

Young Lions FAQs

Young Lions get exposure to Muay Thai, BJJ, and Wrestling fundamentals. This well-rounded approach lets them discover what they enjoy most while building a complete skill set. As they advance, they can specialize in specific disciplines.

Yes, controlled and supervised sparring is introduced gradually. We start with positional drills and light contact work before progressing to supervised sparring rounds. Safety gear is required, and coaches are always on the mat managing intensity.

This is one of the most common reasons parents bring their kids to us, and yes, it works. Not because we teach them to punch bullies, but because we build genuine confidence. A child who carries themselves with quiet confidence is far less likely to be targeted. And if a situation does escalate, they have the skills to protect themselves.

Competition opportunities are available for students who want them, but never required. Our coaches will let you know when your child is ready and help prepare them if that's the path they want to take.

We recommend 2-3 days per week for consistent progress. Some kids train more as they get hooked. Our coaches can help you find the right balance between martial arts, school, and other activities.
