Forget the bounce house. Forget the same pizza-and-cake routine at the same venue every kid in class has already been to. A Kaizen MMA birthday party is something they'll actually remember — and talk about at school on Monday.

Our instructors lead the kids through 90 minutes of structured fun. The party breaks into three 30-minute blocks: structured games, fun martial arts techniques and drills, then food and cake cutting. These aren't watered-down exercises — they're real martial arts activities adapted to be age-appropriate and genuinely fun. Kids learn basic strikes, play martial arts relay games, compete in team challenges, and cheer each other on.

Then comes the highlight: the samurai sword cake-cutting ceremony. The birthday kid steps up in front of all their friends, gets handed a real (fully supervised) martial arts sword, and slices through their cake. It's dramatic, it's memorable, and it's the coolest thing a 7-year-old has ever done at a birthday party.

You bring the food and the cake. We handle everything else — setup, activities, supervision, and cleanup. You get to actually enjoy your kid's birthday instead of running around managing chaos.

What Parents Are Saying

We were nervous about putting our 4-year-old in martial arts. Coach made us feel so welcome on the first day. Now our son counts down the days to his next class. He's learning patience, respect, and how to listen — things we struggle to teach at home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our standard party package accommodates up to 20 kids. If you're expecting more, let us know when booking — we can often make arrangements for larger groups depending on the location and time slot.

Parties run 1 hour 30 minutes. The time is split into three 30-minute blocks: structured martial arts games, fun martial arts techniques and drills, then food and the samurai sword cake-cutting ceremony.

We offer three party packages. Each location has slightly different pricing and add-on options. Tell us your preferred location, date, and guest count when you book and we'll send you the full package details for your gym.

Parents are welcome to stay and watch — most do. We have seating areas for adults. However, our staff runs everything, so you don't need to lift a finger. You can relax, take photos, and actually enjoy your child's birthday.

Comfortable clothes they can move in — athletic shorts or leggings and a t-shirt. No shoes needed (we train barefoot). No martial arts gear or experience required.

You bring the food, cake, and drinks. We provide the space, tables, plates, napkins, and all party supplies for the activity portion. Most parents order pizza — it's easy and works great. The only requirement for cake? Make sure it's something that looks awesome when sliced with a samurai sword.
